After getting whitewashed in England,India came back strong and won the ODI series in India by 5-0. England didn't managed to win a single match in ODI series. So they wanted to win the one off t20.
India Won the toss and elected to bat first, which seems not a great choice at the end.From the start, Indian batsmen struggled to cope up with the slow nature of the pitch and loosed wickets on a consistent basis.Not even a single batsman looked comfortable in the wicket.
Robin Uthappa and ajinkya Rahane Didn't trouble the scorers much as they went for 1 and 0 respectively.Suresh Raina and MS dhoni played bit well and scored 39 and 21.But other batsmen went with very low scores.India managed to score only 120 in 20 overs.For England, Steve Finn was impressive again,he took three wickets.
In the reply England started well as craig hit few fours.But both the openers went soon.Kevin pietersen was impressive from the start,He and samit patel played well and took the match away from india as they managed to register their first win india in this tour.
England beat india by 6 wickets and 1.2 overs.
